Fanfic writing for a cause

In addition to my regular holiday ficathons, I'm going to put my fic writing to good use this year.

I've signed up for the Holiday Support Stacie Auction. Minimum word count: 2500. Minimum bid: $5.

This is for a very good cause - a fellow fan who needs money for cancer treatment. So please, if you are willing to write (or willing to bid!), please do.

I can't do Yuletide, since I don't feel comfortable writing for the fandoms offered (haven't heard of all but like... four of them).

I actually envy you a bit. I really wish I could get involved with this, but I just can't guarantee that I could finish a fic right now. But I bought one in the last auction, so I might stick it out and see if I can do one this time around too :)

I've been feeling refreshingly ready for fic. I think that my mind's a lot clearer now that I'm not worried about affording the UK trip anymore. :)

AND... having my own laptop again definitely helps.

I keep missing announcements about the other auctions, and I've wanted to participate. I'm definitely looking forward to it.
