Writer's Block: Immigration

[Error: unknown template qotd]It's physically impossible to immigrate from my current home.

I'd emigrate probably to either Canada or the UK. Although if conditions were bad enough that I had to emigrate from the US, I imagine borders would be shutting down in several nations very quickly.

No... you're definitely not the only one. :)

Although I'm trying to envision immigrating from my present home as the literary version of an M.C. Escher painting - one of those physical impossibilities that somehow oddly works. *grin*

I cannot tell you how happy it makes me that you know the difference between immigrate and emigrate! It drive me nuts when people don't know the difference between those two (and also the difference between a refugee and an internally displaced person).
