I honestly do enjoy reading viewpoints that I disagree with. On more than one occasion, my opinion has changed (or at least broadened to "okay, I definiltely see where you're coming from with this"). I believe different opinions are important.

But some are just so hateful toward those who enjoy particular parts of fandom - it's not worth it.
