I like River as a character so far, too. Kind of a ballsy woman, confident in herself. Able to stand up to the Doctor. Still too early to determine whether I'd like her as a companion, but I do admit that I like the idea of the Doctor falling in love with someone, and then having their lives intertwine off and on through time travel.

SitL hasn't given me any serious chills either (although it's creepy in that fun, curl up on the couch and giggle sort of way), but that could change of course with the second half. :)

I'm looking forward to next week, too.
